We are pleased to announce Barrel Builders' own Hungarian Oak Barrel. We've been working with wood and barrels from Europe for 35 years. We know a lot about European forests. More importantly, we know many of the people who control the wood. Recently we found a quality source of Hungarian wood from a sustainable forest that looks as good as any I've seen.

We now have our own wood supply and we've selected wood that is tight and consistent. In addition, we will be able to source from this same area for years to come. The barrels you buy this year will have the same profile as those you buy next year.

Every step of the aging and manufacturing process is under our control. Even the toasting is to our specifications.
